SUMMARY:Corps of Signals Motorcycle Rally reaches PPS\, Nabha to inspire youth
DESCRIPTION:A motorcycle rally commemorating the 116th Raising Day of the Corps of Signals is currently underway to honour veterans and war heroes and to inspire the youth to remember the valour and sacrifice of the armed forces. \nA team comprising eight officers\, one JCO and ten jawans\, led by Col Rajeev Kumar\, is covering an approximate distance of 2000 km. The rally commenced from Delhi on February 15\, 2026\, and is passing through Hisar\, Mandi Dabwali\, Abohar\, Amritsar\, Nabha\, Chandigarh and Dehradun\, culminating at Meerut. \nThe rally reached The Punjab Public School\, Nabha\, on February 21\, 2026. Lt Col Archana Singh interacted with the students and apprised them of the vital role and functioning of the Corps of Signals. She highlighted the strength and professionalism of the Indian Army and encouraged the young minds to join the Army to serve the nation. \nHeadmaster Dr DC Sharma presented mementos to the team members and expressed his gratitude for inspiring and motivating the students.

NCC Air Wing secured first position with 117 points and lifted the Challenge Trophy. NCC Army Wing (Girls) stood second\, Army Wing (Boys) third\, and Naval Wing fourth. Individually\, Cadet Abhaypartap Singh Nagi stood first and judged Best Commander. Headmaster Dr DC Sharma motivated cadets to join NDA through NCC.

SUMMARY:Young Minds Ignite Innovation on National Science Day at The Punjab Public School\, Nabha
DESCRIPTION:The students of The Punjab Public School\, Nabha celebrated National Science Day with great enthusiasm and scientific fervour on February 28\, 2026. The event showcased the innovative spirit and research aptitude of students from both the Junior and Senior Schools.\nThe Science Exhibition was inaugurated at the Centre of Innovation & Research by Mr Bhupinder Singh Dhindsa\, a distinguished entrepreneur in the field of agriculture and horticulture\, who graced the occasion as the chief guest. The theme for this year’s National Science Day is “Women in Science: Catalysing Viksit Bharat.”\nThe students presented a wide array of exhibits across the disciplines of Chemistry\, Physics\, and Biology.\nChemistry exhibits included common separation techniques of mixtures\, preparation and properties of gases\, testing of food adulterants\, electrolysis and its applications\, preparation of rayon from cotton wool\, demonstration of various types of chemical reactions\, and a display of common elements along with their uses.\nPhysics models featured a nuclear reactor model\, hydraulic crane\, Newton’s cradle\, and a wave machine\, demonstrating important scientific principles in an engaging manner.\nBiology projects highlighted topics such as hydro battery\, classification of animal and plant kingdoms\, hydroponics\, and the transport of food and minerals in plants.\nA Special Assembly was convened in Pavate Hall to mark the occasion. Several students delivered insightful presentations\, enriching the audience with their knowledge and research. Prabhgun spoke on the significance of National Science Day. Sehajnoor Kaur and Ridham Kaur gave a presentation on Biotechnology. Shobit explored the fascinating concept of Black Holes in Physics\, while Vipra discussed Medicinal Plants. Rababpreet Kaur gave an insightful presentation on Chemicals in World Wars\, and Parikshit Gupta addressed the global medicine crisis. Vedant P. Kulkarni and Ritvik Patra highlighted the contributions of eminent scientists\, while Udayveer and Japjee spoke about Indian Institutions for Higher Studies and Research.\nIn his address\, Mr Dhindsa encouraged the student community to apply scientific knowledge and innovation for the betterment of humanity and to contribute meaningfully towards building a progressive and developed nation.\nHeadmaster Dr DC Sharma presented a token of deep respect and gratitude to the chief guest. He expressed the hope that the entrepreneurial spirit of Mr Dhindsa would ignite a new spark among the students.

The programme concluded formally with a sincere vote of thanks delivered by Heavenjot Kaur.\nThe Headmaster\, Dr. D. C. DESCRIPTION:Baisakhi Welfare Fete was organised at PPS on April 13\, 2026. Headmaster Dr DC Sharma inaugurated the fete to the delight of students and parents present on the occasion. Many games and eatables stalls were put up catering to varied tastes and likings. Boys and girls enjoyed Fishing the soft drink bottles\, Golf putting\, Scoring a goal (football)\, One stump to bowl at\, Hockey scoop\, Jabberwocky\, Coin the bucket\, Hoopla (ring & carry)\, Car race/dice game\, Agility Ladder Twist\, Toppling the cans\, Basketball through a tyre\, Dart shooting\, All is well\, Horse riding and Juke Box. Tambola added to the charm. Departments of Art\, Photography\, Geography\, IT & Robotics\, Mathematics\, Chemistry\, Physics\, Biology\, History\, Historical Section\, Music and Band put up exhibitions as well. \nIn a special assembly held prior to the fete\, Darshil\, Japneet and Gurnoor highlighted the significance of the day in English\, Hindi\, and Punjabi respectively. The school choir presented devotional songs. The event was attended by Bursar Dr Ankur Samuel Birkett\, ODHM Mrs Ravinder Kaur\, and members of the faculty.

The highlight was a colourful folk dance presentation showcasing diverse traditions from West Bengal\, Kashmir\, Goa\, and Rajasthan\, celebrating India’s rich cultural tapestry. \nThe audience was further enthralled by a soulful solo rendition of “Jivan Ke Din Chhote Sahi\,” originally sung by Kishore Kumar\, which was beautifully presented by Parikshit Gupta. The evening concluded with energetic Giddha and Bhangra\, making the event a grand success.

DESCRIPTION:The 80th Independence Day was  celebrated at The Punjab Public School with great fervour and enthusiasm. The chief guest\, Dr GS Madhav Rao\, an eminent  educationist\, hoisted the tri-colour and inspected  the guard of honour. All the three wings of NCC were in attendance. It was followed by speeches by Eshreet Kaur\, Shama Choudhary and Shaelbeer Singh on the relevance of the day in English\, Hindi and Punjabi respectively. The  school choir sang patriotic songs. Speaking on the occasion\, Dr Rao called upon the student community to nurture the values of discipline\, integrity and character. Headmaster Dr D C Sharma proposed the vote of thanks and motivated the students to cultivate values and maintain discipline and integrity in every walk of life. Dr Sharma gave the chief guest a token of deeply felt respect and gratitude.
