The Punjab Public School, Nabha hosts 2-day All India Teachers’ Training for IPSC Schools

All India IPSC Teachers’ Training under the aegis of the IPSC Trust was hosted by The Punjab Public School, Nabha from September 14-15, 2025, on the theme “Adolescence Education Programme integrated with Life Skills and Classroom Management.” The Opening session was presided over by Dr Sumer Singh, distinguished educationist and keynote speaker, who holds several leadership roles including former Chairman, IPSC, and Member of the School’s Board of Governors.

In his address, Dr Singh emphasised the urgent need for transformational leadership in the school education system to drive meaningful reform and elevate the quality of learning. He advocated for a shift from traditional models to more dynamic, student-centred approaches that foster innovation and inclusivity.

He emphasized the importance of assessing relative student performance, enabling both children and parents to understand individual strengths. This, he noted, is key to building confidence, nurturing emotional well-being, and supporting social development.

Dr Singh also highlighted the critical role of teachers’ training as a cornerstone of professional growth. He called for continuous development programmes to empower educators with the skills and mindset needed to deliver high-quality education. Headmaster Dr DC Sharma gave the chief guest a token of deeply felt respect and gratitude for enlightening educators. Dr Sharma also thanked the President, IPSC trust for entrusting PPS with the responsibility of organising this unique training.
