PPS delegates attend Round Square Conference at The Scindia School

On January 27, 2025, a group of eight students from Classes 7th and 8th along with a teacher escort Mrs Kulbir Kaur Grewal left for RS Global Conference at The Scindia School, Gwalior. Upon arrival, an engaging ice-breaking session set the tone for the event.
The Opening Ceremony featured a flag ceremony where Eshreet Kaur proudly represented PPS, Nabha. Renowned environmentalists Mr Rakesh Khatri, ‘Nestman of India,’ and Mr Animesh Kapoor inspired delegates with insights on sustainable nest-making to protect bird habitats. Delegates then participated in Baraza discussions on the theme ‘Environmentalism’, followed by a serene mindfulness session at ‘Astachal.’
The second day was filled with creative workshops, including block printing, paper mâché, and street play. The evening witnessed an energetic Punjabi dance performance by delegates from PPS. On the third day, students visited ‘Meadows,’ an Eco Park maintained by Scindia boys, where they engaged in the ‘seed bomb activity.’ Later, a captivating light and sound show at Gwalior Fort brought history to life. The conference concluded with a vibrant Jam Session, Masquerade Party, and a heartfelt Closing Ceremony, where Eshreet Kaur shared her reflections.
This conference enriched our students with lifelong memories, new friendships, and invaluable learnings about environmental sustainability.
